Matches for pistol in VA?
I originally went looking for some sort of IDPA or some other steel match, but got caught up in skeet trap and clays. Well I still want to give pistols a try, and I have a new Para P18.9 to try it with. Are there any pistol matches in VA? Who would I need to contact to get started? VA seems to have lots of shotgunners, but fewer pistol shooters.

Go to www.uspsa.org and use the club-finder function.

Depends on your location. Here is a list of IDPA clubs in va.
http://www.idpa.com/clublist.asp?pick=VA I'm in N. Va, and there are usually monthly matches at Silver Eagle Group as well as Blue Ridge Arsenal. SEG is having problems finding MD, so not sure when their next will be. Rivana gun club is supposed to have matches, as well as The Range down in Fredericksburg. If you havent already, you might join this group, there are a few comp shooters there as well. http://vagunforum.net/

Where in VA? Lots of stuff out there. The west of the state is pretty bare, I'd like to fix that at some point.
