Solo 1000 Load for 40 S&W?
I've been using Solo 1000 for 45ACP, and would like to find a load for my 40 S&W with 165gr Precision Delta FMJ bullets. Any help would be appreciated.

It appears that Solo1000 isn't the greatest handgun powder. I don't see it listed in any of my manuals for 40, and it's not listed for much of anything else either. The manufacturer doesn't list it either.
With a quick internet search, I saw a few people playing around with it in 40 and they posted some data. But there isn't much out there. I once read in a gun magazine "If you can't find any data for a certain powder and cartridge combination, there is usually a good reason for it". I would take that advice in this instance and buy a different powder better suited for 40. |

Solo 1000 Load for 40 S&W?
Check out the Brian enos site. Solo 1000 is used quite a bit. It's fast and lot to lot there is variation. People have to re qualify their loads w each new lot of powder.
