Smith & Wesson M29-2
I have a Smith and Wesson Model 29-2 serial #M385--- and my buddy is interested in buying it and offered me originally $700. I don't know if that's a good price or not. It's in perfect condition with less than 100 rounds put through the weapon.
Comes with hard case, soft zipper case, cleaning kit and box of shells. Does anyone have a ballpark idea on the current going price? |

I recently sold my Model 29 with full lug barrel for $550, this with over 10,000 rounds fired, not original barrel. I have a similar one, 6" barrel I'm thinking of asking $600 for it. So $700 is a good price. Some are asking $900 for cased with accessories pristine condition.

Without seeing it, knowing barrel length, finish, original box, original paperwork... it's kinda hard to nail down exactly.
I suggest you go to Gunbroker and see if you can find a good match to your gun amongst the 26 currently listed. Asking price and selling price are two different things, but at least you'll have a bit better idea. C
