This is what I found out from benelli customer service:
The M4 S90 should be available for civilians by early 2002. The price and configuration have not been determined yet. |

Interesting, I'm wondering on the configuration. Maybe sans collapsing stock?

Supposedly that is the only difference. Can't recall where I read that now but I actually saw a pic of one with a conventional layout stock and that was supposed to be teh civilain version. It didn't look bad either, personally I'm not actually all that thrilled with the collapsing stock anyway although it would have been nice to be able to own an M4 in military configuration from a collectors standpoint.
I wonder what the damages are going to be on it? |

I recently heard it should be available at prices greater than $1500 USD.
