Work in progress. Finished drilling the Bren barrel through a lathe to make the 10/22 barrel slide in. Need to reweld the Bren receiver. Add extended bolt through the buffer and reuse the action screw.

Both stocks will be repainted flat black

Defcon, bravo sir! You have some amazing talent. Were you quite satisfied with the performance of all of the finished conversions?

AKs seem to be under-represented on this thread, and at least as evil as most ARs, so here's mine. The hardware is by Lancaster Arms (milled receiver and Tapco G2 trigger group), and the furniture is by Tapco and Hogue. It's just about finished, but I may replace the slant brake with an M16-style brake. I still have the original beautiful cherry furniture, but I'm no purist (at least when it comes to rifles) and the collapsible Tapco stock and butt pad make this rifle much more comfortable when shooting. With a full 30 round mag total weight is 9.4 lbs, less than I've seen reported elsewhere.

Hi everyone! I just signed up on this website and I wanted to post my M4. I just bought it about 2 weeks ago and it is my first ever firearm. Eventually, I want to get some kind of sight for my rifle.

You have some of the best sights one can have for 0-200 yards on your AR.
Learn to use those and you will be better of in the long run.

Nice first gun!!!!

SR420, may I ask exactly how many M1A builds you have? I've seen many different pics of some of the most beautiful rifles clothed in SAGE stocks from you. Do you buy news stocks for old rifles you own, or are they all uniquely built?

Kimio, I think the M14 count is down to 5.
All were custom built by SEI in different SAGE stocks that I purchased from Clyde Armory.
That said, SEI did supply the PMRI stock my M14 EBR-RINM-SEI is in.
I'm down to 3 EBR stocks, an assortment of USGI, two USGI synthetic with RRM and I am waiting on a Blackfeather RS.

I tried the TROY MCS and the Juggernaut Tactical Rogue bullpup in different configurations, but neither impressed me enough to replace my SAG EBRs.

I dedicate this post to Cameron, who convinced me to satisfy my cravings for a UBR. Just installed it, fit great and fun to do. Can't wait to take her to the range.

Also, why isn't this thread stickied??

I would post a picture of mine, but I did such a good job with the camo paint, that I can't seem to find her.

When my can arrives next week, I will definitely look harder and post a pic with her new outfit on.

I bought this DPMS LR 308 Oracle last week and changed the buttstock to a Magpul PRS, put on Apex free floating handguard, installed a low pro gas block, put on a Magpul Maid pistol grip, installed a BABC muzzle brake, put in a Timney 4lb trigger assembly, and put a Vortex scope on it. Shoots great and no malfunctions of any type.
