Anyone ever hear/use an ATAX?

This thing looks pretty awesome on the website, just wondering if anyone has used it or know anything about it?

Wow.. I don't even think I'd but it for $9.99, much lesss $300. It doesn't do anything good except tying it to a few branches to make an axe ..maybe. that is one of the dumbest products I've ever seen.:barf:

Taking a good look at the guy's hand that's holding it, I'd say it'd make a right handy finger remover, too .

Let's see.
It has a protractor for measuring angles to what?
It has a ranging setup, supposedly just in case you want to attack an animal with the axe.
It has a good sized grip, as if you would want to hold it while chopping.

Jack of all trades, master of none. It is another answer waiting for a question. There are a lot of guys out there who have designed and marketed do-all tools, but the problem with most of those is that they don't do any of them well. And for that price I can buy an axe, a knife, and a rangefinder and not run the risk of maiming myself while I am trying to figure out how far and at what angle the animal is.

Foolish way to lose $300.00, at least in my opinion!
