What happened to C-more sights

A few years ago these were all the rage. Now I never here about them. I'm

planning to put an optic on my AR but can't make my mind up which one. C-

mores use to be popular, now EOtech's and Aimpoints are. I know Aimpoints

are mil-spec (read: durable). What are the other advantages/ disadvantages

of these. I want to stay under $300. Is there any other sights in this price

range that I should be looking at?

I'm looking to gain speed in the 0-150 range and still be able to

maintain close to the accuracy I can get with the irons. Don't need NVG

compatability, durable enough to trust if I ever needed it around the house.
