Good Instructor for Training?

I get my new gun in 4 days, its a Magnum Research Baby Eagle and I can't wait to get back to the range with it but I don't want to develop bad habits and from what I've read here its an easy thing to do.

I'm just getting into pistol shooting and I love it, I'm not too bad shot but I want to be good.

I've inquired about two different basic classes but they don't start until March and thats a little far off to wait so I'm thinking about taking private classes from an instructor (if available) till the other classes begin.

How would I go about finding a good instructor?

I'm located in Los Angeles, the gun range I like is a place called "So. Cal. Sharpshooter Indoor Range" in Torrance, California and there is also an outdoor L.A.P.D. Range even closer to me in San Pedro.

It may not be that relevant but my wife might also be training with me if her schedule permits, so the private classes costs might be spread over two people.

Regards,
