22lr converter for Glock 17

Hi

Technically, is it possible to use a .22lr converter for Glock 17 but with a Glock 17 blank gun?

Thanks

By ".22 converter", do you mean a .22 LR conversion kit for the Glock 17 (9mm)?

If so, I believe you can. I run a .22 LR conversion kit on my Glock 22 (40 S&W) / Gen 3 and it works just fine.

However, I don't know if you can use a .22 LR conversion kit on a Glock 17 "Blank Gun"? It doesn't seem logical that me that you would be able to, as using a .22 LR conversion kit on a blank gun would allow a person to "skirt" some gun laws.

Unlikely. Blank guns are made to look like the real thing, but their inner workings are very different.

Thank you all for responding... I was thinking the same thing as you and time better not to do this otherwise it would be catastrophic

I don't really think it would be dangerous because I don't think the parts would fit.

^^^ John is correct.

Skip to 12:30 and you'll see that, like all blank-firing replicas I have encountered, the barrel is an integral part of the frame.
