Locking a Thread

Can the standard Joe lock their own thread and if so how? Or is that something only the big guys can do.

In general, no, you can't lock a thread, only moderators can do that. However, you can lock your own threads in the Trading Post - instructions are in the Rules threads in those forums (rule 3).

If you need a thread of yours locked, and the reason for doing so is sound, PM any moderator who will usually do it for you.
