Anyone ever use this mold? I saw a drawing of the bullet and according to the picture it looked like a good hunting bullet ie...nice wide meplat, weight forward shape. Just how close was the picture?

I've used this exact mold with wheelweights for some time now. Yes, the bullet looks almost exactly like the pictures of it. I'm very happy with it. From my M29 classic, I can get 1" groups at 50 yds with it. My load is: 20 grs. H110 & a Winchester primer. I've clocked it at 1234 average fps at 5 yds. I'm carrying it this year for deer & elk. I water quench my bullets & for a lube, I use 1 lb of beeswax, 2 toilet bowl wax rings, & 1 bottle of Lees Alox all mixed together. I also use a Lyman sizer press with a flat nose punch & size the bullets to .429.
