where can I find 7.5x55 ammo I would like to use this gun for hunting deer anyone recomend correct load and supplier thanks GH

Most of what has been on the market is military type with FMJ bullets. You could pull the bullets and reload the cases using .308 hunting bullets, but soft point ammo is being sold by Graf
http://www.grafs.com/browse/234/410 Norma also loads it, but Norma ammo is more expensive. The cartridge is easy to reload and the power is on a par with .308. Jim |

Another option is Wolf Gold, made by Prvi Partizan. Brass case, Boxer primer, non-corrosive. Gets good reviews.

Hornady produces and sells boxer-primed, soft point ammunition in this caliber in the Hornady Metric Ammo line. So now you can shoot factory ammo or use it as a source for brass once you fire it.
