Cheeck rest for .308

looking for a cheeck rest for my savage 10 fxp .308. Saw the blackhawk models http://www.midwayusa.com/product/141...ck-nylon-black

anyone use these? Look like good quality

Also saw the ones you mount on stock using screws and drilling into stock:

Any thoughts on this one?

I've got the Blackhawk setup on my Remington 700 that has the laces, zippered pouch, and shell holder loops.... Love it!! I needed a bit more height so I put a strip of sticky backed velcro on the stock comb, and the other on a strip of 1/2" foam matting. Slipped the cheek pad over top, cinched it up, and it's held rock solid for almot 2 years now. This is my hunting rifle mind you, and it's seen a lot of field use. Not a range or safe queen by any means. The accessory pocket has come in very handy and the non slip Hawktex surface has been great especially when I'm sweating like a dog or when it's raining. Have no experience with the buckled version though...
