central valley in California

just a quick question does any one that lives in California shoot in any IDPA matches. I live in between barkersfield and fresno area and i am wanting to start i just don't know where and when.

I don't know about IDPA, but at the USPSA website you can input your zip code and find matches near you. IDPA may have the same feature.

Also check the posts Gryff thoughtfully provides each month on this board listing action pistol matches in northern CA. You may find something within driving distance for you.

There is an IDPA local club match in Fresno on the second Fri. of the month at "The Range" pistol club.
