I'm fond of Wilderness "5-stitch" Instructor belts myself. They also do a polymer lined belt if you want it super stiff.

Cheers,
C

I actually got a Faded Glory belt from Wal Mart that works fairly well. I used to use the same type when I was a security guard carrying a radio, handcuffs, and other items.

Galco has a whole line of them that are nice. They are kinda pricey I guess compared to a target or walmart special but they are high quality and if you are a buttless wonder like me who has to wrench down the belt they are worth it because it will outlast 2 or 3 cheaper ones. Optics planet is where I get mine. They have all kinds of fun stuff and good prices. Website is not the most user friendly but its not the worst.

Do yourself a favor, order one from thebeltman.net. While his aren't the cheapest around, they will last much longer than several cheap belts.

My $ .02

I own two belts from Beltman and they are excellent!! I am required to teeter between a suit and business casual for work and these products fit the bill nicely.

For play I use a 1 1/2" Wilderness Instructor's belt. Not much on fashion, but it works!!

Good grief theres got to be a million and one CCW belt mfg's nowadays.

For a tactical or casual belt the Wilderness Instructor.

For a dress belt, this guy he's a member on here. Rayban username.

Those are my recommendations.

Wife just got me a Beltman for my birthday, don't have it yet ... we went with that company based on tons of recommendations ... I normally pocket carry or use paddle holsters; this will be my first time for leather on a belt ... can't wait ....

If you want a good gun belt but don't want to pay extra for it being a "gun" belt, go to your local Police & Fireman clothing outlet. They have good belts and better pricing.

Simply Rugged Holsters makes a fine belt. Different widths available. Very good buckles on them. PS .... They got real good pancake holsters also!
