New Grips

Did a little photo shop work and put different grips on my new Ruger I just
bought. Tell me which one you like.

Center one. Classy and understated. Is the ivory one real ivory or poly ivory?

.

I'm torn between the checkered Rosewood grips and the SI (Simulated Ivory) set.

But, I also like stag grips on a blued Ruger:

I put a set of those fleur de lis grips on a single six and really liked them. They're a little fatter than factory tho. They get my vote.

Minimalist approach and you can see the grain of the wood real well.

Personally, I like #1 the best by a wide margin.

BTW, good job on Photo Shopping the stock to your gun! A useful skill for sure.

Well it's not really the "Photo Shop". It's a free app I got for my I-Pad. I do
everything on my I-Pad. No use for a computer any more or camera. All my
pictures I take are with my I-Pad. I may be 71. But I try to keep up on things.

I vote for #3 as well . . . not gaudy but bold and manly . . although I have to admit those grips on Hawg's SS look pretty spiffy!

.

Sack's good people to deal with - he made a set of his Elkhorn stags for my OM BearCat, relatively inexpensively.

BTW - Your ROA should take XR3-RED replacement grips - so marked on the inside web of the revolver's gripframe.

None of them, I like Pachmayr.

the answer is obvious, none of them look bad so just buy four more ROA's and you can have one of each.

Which Grips:

I like the top right because of the reddish and blueish contrast. I've always like that combination.

I like the bottom right also but a little less., I like the pleasing contrast it gives to my eyes.

All the grips are nice, but the others are just too "flat" looking to me.
