First Revolver
I finally broke down and purchased my first wheel gun, a Smith & Wesson model 19-4. Thank you Jim March for your excellent Revolver checkout guide; this made me confident that I could perform a good inspection and not miss big warning signs of harsh wear or misuse. These are no longer the great buy they once were but decent buy's can still be had.
I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to get it to the range.

A model 19 is a great start. You will enjoy it- and eventually realize that one Smith is just not enough!

Nice revolver, it is the last of the pinned barrel, recessed cyl. 19's. Enjoy.

Congrats, The Model 19 is a great revolver. I know you will like it. I had a nice 4" version and sold it some time ago. Just this week I got this one to replace it. It is a 19-5. Need to get some woodies for it however.
