Yes it does work great.
But it doesn't seem to adjust for different powder charges. The part of the shuttle with the powder metering chamber would probably need to be replaced to make an adjustment in volume. |

This device would be illegal at an NMLRA sanctioned event. As for personal range use one needs to deal with the issue of the probability of a hot ember in one of the revolver's chambers. Lots of folks believe that probability is very low, while others feel any finite probability is too much when you're talking about serious injury to hands and eyes.
The question is much easier to answer for a long gun; there are many instances of hot embers igniting a flask (one of which I witnessed) when it was used to load directly. |
