What makes these cap 'n' balls so darn accurate
Hello all, i received my replacement pietta civilian from cabelas and after making on perfect gun out of two not so perfect i went to shoot it, well this frankingun does shoot, i consistintly knock down pins at 25 yards, i am just wondering why???, rich

Well, for starters, you seem to be pretty savy and consistant in your loading. Another fundamental reason, is that RB's are very forgiving. It's always easier to throw a baseball more accurately than a football ....

Why shouldn't a cap and ball pistol be accurate? Cartridges were invented to make reloading faster, not to make guns more accurate.
