This is why we don't depend on cap and ball revolvers today...lots of cap jams with this little guy...

As a suggestion, tilt the revolver to the right as you cock the hammer; this may help the loosened, fired caps fall free. Works for me

love hearing the histories behind the revolvers you shoot in your videos. cant imagine how the folks dealt with the cap problem back in the day. looks like a serious complication if they were chasing a bad guy. |

Is filling the hammer void common knowledge? I bought a buddy an 1862 police for his 50'th b-day and he's been having the same problem with his caps as the guy in the video.
