Hard cast bullet pickup in Nor. CA ?
Shipping seems to be a big expense in ordering bullets.
Anyone know of a place that makes them in Nor. PRK that I can go pick up? .45ACP hardcast is what I need - would buy 3000+ |

Yes, try "Bullets, Bullets, Bullets" in Fremont. I don't know the address, but I could drive you there. (It's near Automall Parkway and Fremont Blvd. Should be in the book.) They make bullets (they have several commercial grade swagers) and they sell many varieties of commercial brands. If there was ever a "Bullets R Us" it would be that place.

Hard cast bullet pickup in Nor. CA?
I used to get bullets from a guy in Auburn, he was just off highway 49 as it heads up to Grass Valley. He was just off the frontage road that ran on the left side of 49 if you're going toward Grass Valley, near a tire shop. He wasn't doing this from his home, he had a small store front. I can't remember the name of his business, but he made good bullets and they were cheap. Check out the yellow pages - or if there are any gun shops left up there ask around in them (there was a gun shop near the casting guys place, it was on the frontage road and across from that shopping center on 49).

How about the next Sacramento, Reno, or Placerville gunshow. Usually the bulletsmiths show up with their wares.

Stash of Ca-Saeco pustol bullets N Cal
While demonstrating the 39 bulletmaster machines I sold in the 70's that had Competition winning Calif=Saeco Meehanite Iron molds. I accumulated a pile of 38, and 45 target bullets of 50/50 tire weights/Linotype alloy bullets stashed unlubed in 50 caliber ammo cans. They shine like new and can keep some Bullseye shooters happily busy with one of my New San Diego Star lubers and my free Saeco Secret Green lube formula.
.38 #50 148 gr wc, .45 200 gr #068 Bullets sold by weight Write for details

J&L Superior Bullets in Oroville and Bear Creek Supply in Waterford but sell poly coated "black" bullets; dont know if they sell "will call". Also Western Nevada also sells cast at a discount but you gotta go to nevada.
