Polymer CZ’s
Not sure when they were announced, but the website shows the full-size and subcompact p-10 models now.

I don't know when they were announced, either. Wow!

Well, that's VERY intriguing. Like to get my hands on that subcompact. Wonder how it compares in size to a G26 or Shield.

Looks to be pretty comparable to other double stack subcompacts. So fatter than the shield.
Making them all optics ready is a really intriguing option. |

They are made in the USA too. I wonder if it is just the frames or the whole gun.

In all honesty, I'm a little horrified by the pattern they selected on that one. They sure don't look very CZ. On the other hand they have actually had some pretty decent plastic pistols like the shadow, etc.

I have two of the CZ P-10C pistols, and that says something - I've never owned two of one kind of pistol at the same time. I also am very fond of my SP-01 Phantom, which is polymer. They are quite well made sidearms that keep working.
The new factory was supposed to be hush hush until it was opened, but a CZ admin in the Czech republic spilled the beans last year. Oddly enough I hear people saying they won't buy a US made CZ, as they think for some reason the quality will be lower. As this factory needs to start off making a good name for themselves, I think they will do everything they can to bring out a high quality product. This isn't the first factory CZ has built overseas, either, as Brazil got one several years ago, to name one. I look forward to getting an American made P-10S if I can, for a BUG and deep concealment pistol for summertime. Pick one up and feel the grip - it's straight CZ goodness there. I will say the "non skid" on the grip is VERY aggressive - your hand could be soaked in blood, oil and sweat, and that pistol is going nowhere! |

IIRC when the P10-C came up an industrious person who actually read the manual noted that there was a listing in there for the subcompact.

..I'm less than impressed I'm a CZ fan... I've got a few. Mostly because their guns don't look like that If they shoot as good as say a nice CZ Rami - ( http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-2075-ra...oy-14-rd-mags/ ) or may be a CZ-75 ( http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-comp...ck-14-rd-mags/ ) i MIGHT look but the style is just not there.

I will be happy to show a RAMI next to a P-10S as soon as I can get one.

I wonder if they had paid the designer more, he could have made them uglier?
Thanks, but no thanks. I like the CZ-75 Compact. I see no need to even consider a CZ-made Glock wannabe. |

I didn't either, was seriously "meh" when the P-10C was announced...then I shot one. I have to use the Glock 19 at work, and I am not fond of it, but the P-10C quickly won me over. Of course it's not for everyone, beauty of having so many wonderful choices out there. But I will do a video when/if I lay hands on a P-10S, and I will sweet talk the wife to let me use her RAMI for the same video.

I kid, I carry a P10-C off duty and love it. I don't have a need for the F model but the S model did perk up my ears

RE: aggressive grip texture...
It is aggressive, but all it takes is a quick rub with piece of sandpaper, and the tips of the texture is abraded away, and then it becomes both comfortable and still effective. |

LOL - Everyone and their brother's uncle is trying to out Glock the Glock.
Our plastic is better, our rifling is better, our drop safety is better (laugh at SIG here), our sights are better (they may have something there), our lousy trigger is better. What ever lights the fuse to your defensive works. Dave

And even though a lot of folks really like Glocks, a lot don't -- and some of those who don't like Glocks will seek a somewhat similar alternative. If the other firms making service pistols DON'T try to Out-Glock Glock, they might as well close their doors. I suspect that at least one of them might eventually Out-Glock Glock. While I do like my Glock 19, I like my P-10C even more. And I did the sandpaper work after my last range trip with the CZ. It was starting to tenderize my soft hands.
So tomorrow I'm going to shoot it a bunch more. Can hardly wait. Bart Noir Who also likes to shoot the polymer CZ-75, known as the SP-01 Phantom.

Does the Phantom qualify as a polymer CZ ? Have not shot one but of all the CZ's I've handled, that one feels the best in my hand.
