S & W 340PD Fire Pin Housing
Hello,
I was cleaning my Smith and Wesson 340PD and the jag I was using to clean the barrel got away from me and rammed into the housing that surounds the firing pin. It actually hit the area outside of the firing pin housing, leaving a small indentation. Can anyone tell me what is this part called (it looks like some type of ring) and if I should be worried? I appreciate the help. I attached a picture (you can see the sliver indentation). Thanks |
