Tip off scope mount

Years ago a friend had a scope mounted on his rifle that could be tipped over to the left so you can use open sights. Its worked well, returned to zero every time, and seemed better than see-through types. I cant find anything on them now. Anyone know who makes them or if they are still available? Thanks,
Ken

Try U.S. Optics, if they have them they won't be cheap. www.usoptics.com

Probably a Pachmayr brand - not a current item.

Probably a Pachmayr brand - not a current item. See e.g. old Gun Digests and such for pictures and then current pricing.

Incidentally tip-off commonly means 3/8 dovetail .22 mount

Incidentally tip-off commonly means 3/8 dovetail .22 mount. The Pachmayr mounts used a cone setup for return to zero - my experience of one only is they were good enough for game but maybe not extreme varminting.
