Do you mean "Super Blackhawk Hunter"?
That may get you more replies.

No Blackhawk comes with Hogue grips. You must be thinking of the super redhawk.

Yep super blackhawk hunter , looks just like that one. So it comes with wood grips. Walnut, or someother type? Would regular super blackhawk grips work then?

Only grips for the round trigger guard Super Blackhawks will work on that frame. (Square trigger guard grips are shorter.)

The ONLY SBH grips that are larger were from 1959, and only about 300 were made... Any Ruger OEM grip since then will fit any SBH, either Dragoon, or Hunter (round) trigger guard... "New Model Super Blackhawk “Hunter” with round trigger guard, same grip panel size as standard Super Blackhawk, marked KHRN." http://www.gunblast.com/Hamm_Ruger-SA-GripFrames.htm Correct for that model should be: "Green and silver, black and silver laminated wood. Raised silver with black background Ruger Eagle medallions." |
