DA replica revolver

Does anyone know of a DA replica revolver that "fits" the 1850 -1900 time ( it is ok if it looks like it is from that period ) period and can handle modern smokeless cartridges?
The reason is that i can use black powder loads in the outdoors season, and smokeless in the indoors season.

I don't know of any reproductions to fulfill your request.* How important is the limitation to the 1900 time period?

The Shofields are a popular reproduction revolver but are only single action.

I don't know of any reproductions of early double action military revolvers like the:

Colt Models 1901 & 1903 (.38 Colt), 1905 (.38 special), 1909 & 1917 (.45 LC).

There's also original pre-'98 S&W revolvers chambered in .38 S&W that are reasonably priced but the double actions tend to be extremely stiff.

*H&R made a Model 926DA (Model 925 also) from 1968 to 1978 that had a hinged frame (break top), chambered for .38 S&W with a 4 inch barrel, 5 shot. It looked like a reproduction of an earlier era revolver and is inexpensive, but the grip is small. They're priced in the $200 range used.

Ifin ya want a cartridge gun get an 1875 Remington or 1873 SAA Colt, from several Mfg...if ya want DA you'll be best to go modern...

Nothing wrong with Ruger Vaquaro's. They are a modern gun, but look like old west hardware

Can get 'em in 44-40, 44mag & 45. Single action only tho, might get you out of trouble indoors.... work great with a full case of Trail boss

SG - He wants to shoot smokeless powder; the Starr, Remington NMA and Ruger Old Army replicas do NOT use smokeless powder. I know you're aware of that so I'm not sure why you suggested them.

Oh Yeah Mykeal thanks, I somehow thought I read Black Powder Season...my bad. Thanks for wakin' me up :O)
I had the Starr on my mind as i jus' got one on G.B.
