Stock for an 1898 Krag
I purchased a pristine 1898 Krag in full military furniture & I had it shipped to my FFL. It arrived with a broken stock. courtesy of the shipping company. A claim has been filed for damages, but in the interim I need to find a stock. Can anyone give me some info on reputable companies where I can purchase a replacement stock? Thanks, Mike

Put a notice on every gun forum you can find, someone out there will have one, but be prepared to pay for it.
You may have to purchase an entire rifle to get a decent replacement that will not need further work. An original finish stock is one thing, a refinished replacement is another. |
