jacked by police
Let me try this again in the correct forum. A week ago I was sitting my table in my front yard under my tree. I was showing my Springfield 1911 to a friend. A few minutes later three police cars showed up. After a long time in cuffs sitting on the curb they let me go took my 1911 and left. Said they would be back to arrest me for aggravated assault because someone driving by said I pointed a gun at them. After a week no cops no gun.

Get your attorney on it. Get the officers names. If it isn't logged in and stored at the station, it's theft.
Don't sit out in your front yard with firearms again. |

Yea, but if they follow through and arrest you, you will have lots more than $2000 in it. Since an attorney should be able to make an inquiry on your behalf, I think $2000 is a bit more than you will have in this single inquiry. . .

Discussing the details of your personal legal difficulties on the internet is not a good idea. Talk only to your attorney.
