Hey Rich, My hats off to you for the time spent on trying to sort out the problem.It seems to be loading better/faster then it was. Also like JBB said once you get in,it seems to work ok

Thanks, RAE. I didn't go to the UBB discussion Board 'cuz it's usually fruitless. I should have.

I did several recounts, but will try it with General shut down.

Well, I thought I was all alone in this slow thing. Only General seems to drag - actually timed out 4 times in a row. Still can't get in @ 1420EDT.
a. Server/system traffic? No - you've checked the load.
b. Lurkers reading, not joining? No - that's under traffic.
c. New source of select-fire jammer? ???

I'm getting 'Connection Timed Out' in Legal and Political as well. And, edits are also tough.

Not only slow at this point, but nearly unusable as well. Hope we find the fix soon.

I have tried several times to get into GENERAL without success, now when I re-entered TFL, I find it is missing. Help.

I also got several "sever timed out" notices when I tried to post in other forums.
