Are the Rem 700 SPS reciever and the BDL compatible?
Hey all, first post...
I was wondering if anyone had added an aftermarket stock to their 700 SPS. Specifically, I was wondering H-S Precision's BDL stocks were compatible. I bought the SPS because it was rumored to be one to the "most accurate out-of-the-box" rifiles on the market. I haven't been diappointed with its performance yet. Still, I am looking to shave a few more fractios of MOA off my 100m group and have a lot of work planned for this rifle. I just need to know if I can order the stock or if I need to look elsewhere. Thanks for the help. |

If your rifle has the bottom metal it'll work . I'm not familiar with all the letter combos Rem. is using these days , but that's it in a nutshell .

According to this http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet...actical/Detail Long Action 700 BDL, SPS, XCR and VTR will all fit in the same stock. I’m not promoting that stock just using the information, though I’d love to try one on my BDL.
