srh ruger

Sir;
When I worked for Novaks they had a SRH that had been taken apart & couldn't get it back together. They sent it out to me and I finally got it back together.
To be honest, I had one awful job doing it and I seem to remember I had to make a special screwdriver to do the crane/cyl assy.
I really think you would be better off to box it up and send it to Ruger - I doubt if they'd even charge you.

Not to be a smart aleck, but that may be something that you send back to Ruger for their kind attention.

thanks gentlemen, I think it is good advice. So far, no damage has been done, I was hoping to have it ready for an elk hunt this October. We'll see.
