Got a chance to chat with E. Emerson and his wife today. We have some mutual friends and obviously similar interests. I found him to be a great guy and incredibly personable. His knives, of course were great looking.. but I got out cheap with just a nasty looking Neck Knife.

Rob, did Ernest happen to mention if the turn around time for a CQC6 is still 3 years?

Ernie and Mary are probably the nicest couple I know. They have been bustin- butt for years in the pursuit of his first love - knife making. It has not been easy for them but they have persevered and now have finally made a giant leap into the commercial world of knife making. Starting from a garage work shop to a state-of-the-art machine shop, order entry system, logistical raw material tracking, customer service and on and on is not an easy task. His custom knives are long in coming but that is because he is totally immersed in the new production facility and he refuses to farm out any fabrication portion of the custom knives - he is truly an honorable mench. and warrants a little patience during the growth cycle.

Harry,

Mr. Emerson mentioned that he is running classes on his own now, but had nothing but high praise for you and GSGI.

Rob,

Ernie is running his own program, as he should. GSGI really works more in LE agency training. Where the Emerson program is an excellent practical approach to defensive edge weapons for the public. We continue to do business together and would be available for each other at any time.
