Legal & Political

Is the Legal & Political, now closed to new posts, ever going to be reopened? Is stuff still relevant seeing as the latest post is two and one half years old?

I very much doubt it will be reopened. If you read Al Norris' sticky including the contained links at the top of this subforum, you'll get a pretty good explanation as to why L&P was closed and why it is unlikely to be reopened. Frankly, the Mods often have a difficult enough time keeping the much more restricted L&CR forum cordial, so I doubt they're overly inclined to allow some of the more polarizing discussions and topics that used to take place in L&P.

Not in the future that I know of. We would have a hard time with the ranting the occurs from a small set of folks. Given the mods' pay scale - we don't need to deal with it.

I get called enough names (as do others) and it's a pain to ban folks.

So, that's that and to avoid someone starting a fight about it -

Closed.
