New scope?

Recently bought a .223 bolt action and was wondering what would be a good scope to put on it. Hoping to spend less than $150. Any brands and/or models you would recommend?

What do you plan on using the rifle for? I tend to like Bushnell scopes for the price you specified. In particular the Bushnell Banner series are good scopes. For the .223 I would recommend a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40mm something similar. Check out www.opticstalk.com there are lots of good threads on selecting a scope for a certain caliber/usage/price.
