The best thing i’ve ever done is buy “blems” from the get go so then you don’t try to baby them.


What’s the first thing you do after completing an AR build, just after doing a function check?

Drop it on the ground and then realize you’re not a slave to mediocre rifle finishes lol

I don't.

If I did, I would use either Birchwood-Casey Aluminum Black or Brass Black (they are different formulas but both will work on aluminum - depending on the particular alloy and surface treatment).

When I got my first AR I tried those touch up pens but it always wore off. Now I just don't care about knick's and scrapes anymore and just let them be.

Hah! That battery powered DeWalt nail gun is pretty great. Would be neat if such a thing existed. I would like to see a thread on the most originally styled ARs.

LOL I could not resist... everyone knows there should not be any scratches on your hammer, it should be a shiny wear pattern!
