Primers I'd never heard of: Fort Smith Primers.

I saw them while perusing Gunbroker and they're all over the reloading supplies pages.

They're selling them in 5,000 primer packs and the one auction I "watched" had them sell for a final price of $120/1,000.

On Arfcom.......

........... a poster said, "They are the same Manufacturer as Wolf and Tula Ammo brand. They are made in Russia by Murom."

Murom's website: http://www.mpzflame.ru/production/primers/

Interesting.

I don't need any badly enough to pay current price, but I think I have heard good things about Tula and Wolf? I used to shoot a lot of Wolf ammo in my old Ruger Minis.

These folks came up before. One day the price was $200/5000 and the next day it was $2000/5000. I don't think I've ever paid much over $125/5000. But my stock isn't new. Nonetheless, I wouldn't buy at that price, either. I would wait a couple of years for things to settle down some.
