IIRC, the John Deere family has a huge ranch somewhere north of Parachute and (I THINK) towards Meeker, but it's been damn near 40 years now (YIKES!) since I lived there.........

FITASC, You live in Rifle/Parachute area 40yrs ago. It's getting pretty close to that Exxon/Mobil oil bust 1982.
