Actual S&W police revolvers.
S&W Model 27-2 stamped Florida Highway Patrol.
Model 64-2 stamped Corpus Christi PD. Model 15-3 used by campus police at a Louisiana university. Model 19-3 carried for 19 years by a federal officer. Registered Magnum stamped Utah Highway Patrol. A 38/44 Heavy Duty carried by a Texas cop in early 1960s. Had a Model 58 used by a New Jersey PD but traded it to an officer's son who wanted a gun from his dad's PD. Also have a 2" M&P sold in 1949 in NYC so very possibly a cop's off duty piece. |

Howdy
There is a guy in these parts who collects revolvers that were used by the Boston Police Department. I see him at gun shows. Always interesting to see what his latest acquisitions are. |

I like agency marked guns. Not being a collector I just shoot them but they are fun.
This Victory Model is fun. Used by a German PD in Saxony after the war I like it because it was carried by a Saxon pig. (Insert rim shot.) I also have this 5" Colt Army Special c. 1924 stamped for the St. Louis PD. Not a revolver but if I can sneak this in it's a Luger stamped for the Wolfsburg PD. |

I only have one. A model 15 with FWPD stamped under the grip. Ft Worth Police Dept. My uncle was a Ft Worth cop and bought and then sold it to me. It has been my HD gun for at least 25 years.
