Officers holster for a Micro-compact or ultra

I just Bought a Springfield Micro-compact wich is the same size as a Kimber ultra.
Will an officers size holster work for this weapon (it's only 1/2") or should I get a holster specifically designed for my new gun? If it is the latter, I prefer either a paddle or ITWB where should I start shopping? One more thing I am fairly tight when it comes to holsters and would prefer to keep it in the $75 or under range.
Thanks, Mike

Milt Sparks is a good place to start for a quality leather holster. There are others, but that's my favorite.

Sod,

Nice weapon. I've got one myself, and it's one of my favorite CCW weapons.

Here's my .02 worth. As holster dealers, we carry a few manufacturers who make rigs (leather and kydex) specifically for the 3" Micro. For example, G-CODE makes a kydex belt and paddle holster for the 3" 1911 style models. Please let us know if you need any assistance, we'll be happy to try to help.

Thanks,
