Lower receiver order

I just ordered 8 pcs. AR15 Lowers today from Code Red Firearms. They said the order was out 3 to 4 weeks before they would be made and shipped. Eight of us at work are going to build guns from the ground up and share cost on tools and help each other when needed. It will be a lot of fun as it sounds like everyones gun will be different.

That's pretty cool. Me and my buddies walk into LRB arms years ago (use to live near them) this was during the Clinton ban no lowers to be found anywhere. They sold us 6 lowers all with consecutive serial numbers for $79.00 each.

WOW. $79 for clinton era AWB lowers?

and nice purchase. Stripped lowers are the way to go, regardless of the scare.

The Code Red lowers are Detroit Firearms lowers rebranded so they should be good to go.

I'm sure it will be an excellent bonding experience for you guys

Eventually some of you will end up with spare parts so that's always a good thing when "building" AR's. Me and my roomate do the same and share tools and accesories when necessary. We even swap lowers, uppers, and BGC's sometimes.

Keep us posted and take pics!
