Remington model 14 pump
My brother-in-law's gun - belonged to his grandfather. I would love to break it down and give it a good scrubbing but am reluctant without some disassembly instructions. Can anyone out there help? Also, do you really have to remove to cap on the magazine tube and pull out the spring to load this thing? Seems like I'm missing something. Thanks!

I also have my grandfathers model 14 in cal. 35 only when I was younger some parts were somehow lost. I did get all of the parts but assembling it, particularly the magazine assembly is difficult. The magazine tube spring is indeed very long and difficult to reinsert. There is always available on ebay a field service manual which goes for $11.99 (it's a photo copy not sold by me). Just type-in Remington Model 14. This may help
