Stripper Clips for Israeli .308 Mausers

I am thinking of getting an Israeli conversion of a German 8mm M1898 Mauser to .308. Does anyone know if Mauser stripper clips for 7mm/8mm Mauser stripper clips will work properly with .308 cartrudges?

If not, are there .308 stripper clips available and who sells them.

While I don't have an Israeli Mauser in .308, I do have one out of South America so converted. I use USGI M-14 stripper clips with not a problem. I can't remember where I got them from. I have some 8 m/m ammo on order that is in 5 round clips, aftr it arrives I will try the .308 ammo in them. I think, however, that .308 ammo should work in 8m/m stripper clips as the head sizes are very close.
