Books on shooting pistols
e there any good books available that cover shooting pistols? Looking at a book that covers techniques and concepts.

the best thing you can really do in regards to fundamentals is this, go to the bullseye website and read the manual on shooting a handgun. then practice the fundamentals.
foxus on trigger and sight control. muscle movement comes down to a major portion of shooting. stay loose is all you can hope for. |

Practical Shooting by Brian Enos is a good book to have and read.

Book on Pistol Shooting
Great book from a historical perspective, is McGivern's Fast and Fancy Revolver Shooting.

Brian Enos
The book Brian Enos Beyond the fundamentals. He is one of the founders of uspsa. He the book deals a lot with the mental aspect and state of mind when shooting Great book. I give GOD all the credit for my competition wins and this book was a good resource. Also a good forum is Zidaho forums Zidaho.com !

Long out of print, but a real classic is The Art of Handgun Shooting by (then) Captain Charles Askins, Jr. Also, Gil Hebard's previously recommended invaluable resource book, The Pistol Shooter's Treasury.
