the best thing you can really do in regards to fundamentals is this, go to the bullseye website and read the manual on shooting a handgun. then practice the fundamentals.

foxus on trigger and sight control. muscle movement comes down to a major portion of shooting. stay loose is all you can hope for.

For the fundamentals (and it's all about the fundamentals), here are 2 excellent books -

A Pistol Shooter's Treasury:

USAMU's Advanced Pistol Marksmanship Manual:

The book Brian Enos Beyond the fundamentals. He is one of the founders of uspsa. He the book deals a lot with the mental aspect and state of mind when shooting Great book. I give GOD all the credit for my competition wins and this book was a good resource. Also a good forum is Zidaho forums Zidaho.com !

Long out of print, but a real classic is The Art of Handgun Shooting by (then) Captain Charles Askins, Jr. Also, Gil Hebard's previously recommended invaluable resource book, The Pistol Shooter's Treasury.
