Has any heard any thing about this round
its a .499 cal .

I was on Leiterner-Wise website and they have a ar15 wich they call the LW15.499
and it shoots the .499 cal 400 grain bullet

They are also offering a nother weard round call a 7.82

By the looks of it, the .499 LW cartridge is basically an lengthened .50 Action Express. The conversion would then be similar to AR15-type .50 AE carbine and rifle offered by Hesse.

My guess on the 7.82x24mm is either a 10mm Norma or .40 Triton Super, necked down to .308".
