Ruger® 10/22® target lite
Picked up a Ruger 10/22 Target Lite yesterday. My only issue with it is that it has no sights. The rifle is only going to be used for plinking. The guy at the gun shop suggested that I put a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 DH BDC on it. What glass would everybody suggest to put on it?

On a hunting rifle meant to be carried a lot a small, lightweight 2-7X scope makes sense. On a target rifle I'd go with a bigger scope with more magnification. A 3-9X40 minimum. I shoot my 22's at 100-250 yards quite often and more magnification helps beyond 50 yards.

The Athlon Talos scopes are decent RimFire options for a good price.

Very nice
FloridaGuy
When and if you have time, could you check the trigger pull on this beauty. I'm seeing "Target rifle" all over the place but can't tell if it's an OEM or not. On the Ruger Website listing in the Distributor Exclusive, there are dozen's of variations, but have not taken the time to look for this one. Once you get it set up, you are really going to enjoy it. ….. Enjoy and; Be Safe !!!

I have the Bushnell Rimfire 6-18 and it’s a great optic for the price.

Very nice.
I like the Weaver rimfire scope line. I have two and both are a good match to the gun. Wife just got a Canadian Centennial 10/22. One of 2000 made. Debating if I should scope it.

Ruger 10/22 target lite
What makes it lite? Is it the trigger? I would think the laminate stock would add a fair amount of weight. Sorry if that's a dumb question.

I have a original 10/22 Sporter, bought new when first out. It has a K4x scope, Weaver
rings & bases. Rig is 50 some years old and will shoot into a Nickle at 40yds. |
