Benjamin .177 pump pistol here.
But I was a teenager at the time... Still have the pistol and it still works. I like the way the bronze shows through on top of the barrel from the thousands of times I've charged it.

My first was a Llama .380 (traded in long ago). Currently have a S&W model 36 with 3" barrel and Crimson Trace laser grips.

I suppose my "first" nightstand gun was a Crosman "357" co2 powered .177cal pellet shooting revolver. First real firearm in that role was my Smith & Wesson Model 17-6.

When I got my NY State pistol permit, I bought a Ruger Blackgawk .357. It protected me through many nights.

EAA windicator... 357mag...snubbie....I was in college and it was inexpensive. It would get so hot during range sessions that the chambers would expand and ejection was impossible. Had to practice w 38spl just to get through 100 rounds.

First nightstand gun was an Ithaca 37 handed down from my grandfather. Still have it, but got an 18" barreled version that now serves nightstand duty. My .357 j frame (clip draw) is always within reach, too.
