OK members. Here's your chance to learn more about gunsmithing. There are several NRA gunsmithing schools scattered throughout the nation (check our Links to the NRA). The one I went to is at Lassen College in Calif.
Their contact person is: Cliff Bannister P.O. Box 3000, Hwy 139, Susanville, CA 96130 ph: 530-251-8800, fax: 530-251-8825, email: [email protected] They're offering classes on caustic bluing, cold rust and nitre bluing, case hardnening (old fashion way with bone meal), fiberglass stock making with Chet Brown, single action semi-automatic pistol (by Bob Dunlap, my teacher whom I've mentioned here before), DA pistol, rifle barreling, and a whole host of other interesting courses. I'll probably take a class or two if I don't have to go to summer school. ------------------ Vigilantibus et non dormientibus jura subveniunt |
