Werewolf bullets

So ... I traded a bunch of brass for a bunch of bullets and in the mix were 10 of these. I hope the picture comes out. Hard to photograph silver reflective surfaces. I take if from lots of other posts Zombies are not as finicky about what they are shot with to die.

Gilding metal jackets
Yup, they'll snuff Lycanthropes, but they'll plate your bore irrevocably if you fire enough of them.

Don't intend to shoot any of them. They do need a sign/label and a place to exhibit them in the reloading room. I think they are nickel plated. They came with 10 pieces of brass with the same finish too. I loaded the plated brass with regular jacketed bullets.

Almost posted something about the Lone Ranger but Werewolves seem to be more envogue like zombies and vampires. Maybe I need some wooden bullets to shoot them through the vampire's hearts when they raid my farm. How does petrified wood shoot?

Actually the US army used them for pratice rounds during WW II, as did the Germans and Japan.

Melt down a silver cross and mold them then quench them with holy water, haven't had one fail yet.

I'd like to see the werewolf get up after 6 hardcast lead 44 mags to the face. That silver bullet stuff was just a marketing ploy.

Clarification

Just a clarification: For Zombies, you must destroy the brain...doesn't matter what load you use, as long as it destroys the brain. For Werewolves, it must be a silver bullet.

Here the next big thing to hit the ammo market wooden bullets soaked in holy water for vampiers and copper jacketed silver bullets with balistic tips made of silver for werewolves.

Werewolves, Vampires, and Other Nasties

Uncleloodis correct.

Shotguns make good anti-Vampire weapons when loaded w/ a wooden stake. Someone just killed a bloodsucker on HBO's True Blood w/ a double-barrel 12 ga. and short stakes. Just remember to get close before firing as the ballistic coefficient of oak is low.

As far as Zombies are concerned, it kind of depends on which variety you are facing. Most do required the bullet or ax or whatever to the brain-pan, but some newer strains as described in the novels Tooth and Nail and Flesh Eaters die just like a normal person.

Didn't Winchester make silvertips in handgun calibers a few years ago? This might be something like that.
