How old is this peice of brass ???& who produced it for Herter`s ??

Thanks for the link !!

I`ve been hiding from ammo manufacturers so long I`m out of the loop as far as who carries what !

It came in a batch of brass from an older gentleman needing some shotshells loaded(an exceptionwas made)to load em some .

Hmm, anyone here ever shot this stuff? I've been avoiding the Herter's brand ammo because I thought it was all Berdan primed.

I bought 200 empty .44 mag from a pawn shop in Montana. It shoots just like brass from anyone else.

Looks good to me, been finding a few new headstamps as well. I'd guess Winchester or someone using some of their machinery made it.

Boxer primed, and it's decent brass.

Granted it's not Winchester, but it will reload 2 or 3 times before I leave it lay!
