Heres my HD shotgun. It a Rem 870 Express and the only three thing I did to it are the ext mag tube (holds 7 rounds), the 20in slug barrel, and I refinished the stocks with tru-oil. It work perfect for me,. It resides next to the bed and is easy for my fiancee to operate.

I didn't make any modifications nor add any shell holders but I think my SPAS-12 is tacticool enough by itself...

1k rounds a year? Piece of cake.....

Being a lefty I took the shell plate off of the stock and replaced the vertical foregrip with the one I had laying around that came on my old 870 from the factory, only thing I want at this point is a mounted light.

Remington 870 Express. Bone stock, except I replaced the 28" barrel with a 20" rifle sighted one, and I've got a five round Uncle Mikes butt cuff shell holder on it (I'm a lefty, so all the shells are on the other side of the stock).

Mag extension aside, it's stock, but I still think it's cool

PS: is it less cool to simply tuck spare shells into your waistband?

Mossberg 590 just like it comes from the factory except for a sling. Properly used a sling gives gun retention, and a more stable shooting stance.
